Frayed not. We agreed to abandon the previous plans for the anniversary.

I was under the impression that the November gathering was not going to be the proposed "10th Anniversary" event, and that the 10th Anniversary had been postponed, more realistically, to May of 2022. Realistic, as in, given the two postponements for 2020 and 2021, it would be our 10th Maytime Ayton meet.

Glad we've cleared that up. And acquired an interesting tongue-twister into the bargain.

Lodge booked for three nights (I'm not going to drive all the way back to Pompey after dark AND without a good breakfast inside me.......).

Negotiations are afoot to be allowed to book myself into the lodge this year. York isn't far but its far enough to count me out of the evening entertainment and frankly I feel like I've earned it this year. I'm sure we all have! It may only be Saturday night but it's better than nothing.

Sure, though my Europans might be getting a bit thinned out. But don't worry there will be plenty going about spare I'm sure. There was last time and we've been painting more since.
