Yes, thank you, I’m feeling much better since my close brush with le morte. It’s so nice when team colleagues enquire after your health.

I’m told.

We once asked you if you were okay. (When your brain spazzed out that time.)
You were somewhat evasive.
We all took the hint and are unlikely to enquire after your well-being again even should we find you sporting a yard-long rectal prolapse.

When he had that bandage on his hand, I enquired about it and he got all defensive and offered a really poor lie. You can only do so much.

What do you mean “really poor lie”? That injury was down to a really vicious umpire who makes you roll to get out of bed in the morning. The sort of umpire who makes you roll ‘climb’ skill just to slide down a well-tied rope from a mere second storey window.
My head still hurts!🤕

Only when your track record suggests there's a good chance of a fumble. Remember when that packing crate taught you a lesson in swordplay?

With no murders or Dr Singh sex scenes it was a relatively quiet episode.

The seemingly resurrected - and naked - Rev Kornfield gave Hilaire a bit of a start. He recovered his composure, assessed Kornfield's buttocks carefully and quickly used his Gallic charm to convince the preacher that he was one of the good(?) guys. Hilaire was asked to join the Reverend on a pilgrimage the next day and to bring the Allen boy with him.

The heroes became concerned about Hilaire (a first time for everything) and went look to for him, finding him returning from the preachers with news of the miraculous restoration.

Randall went to the local morgue and found the Reverend's body in there with his brains suitable mushed as would have been normally expected. Hilaire decided to steal the Gospel of Yig (again) and narrowly escaped before people returned to the house.

Much discussion on plans and possible courses action ensued and in the end everyone went to bed.

Waking at 7 most of the party had a lovely breakfast of cold cuts and were joined by the despondent Allens. The Allen boy seemed well and healthy after his near-death experience yesterday. Other than his forked tongue. Something which his father seemed unaware of (or perhaps in denial). The mood changed however when the news of the Reverend's miraculous revival reached the hotel and the Allens rushed off to the Preacher's house followed by Karina and Hilaire.

Meanwhile Derrick, Singh and Randall sussed out the jail and worked out how to blow it up. However it turned out the fair trial/lynching had been put on hold by the Sheriff and there would be no justice today.

Hilaire was invited in to the Preacher' house to prepare for the pilgrimage and there was blessed by Reverend, along with the Allens and the Sheriff. They then left for the long walk into the dust strewn wilderness. The party of heroes followed at a safe distance.

Hours into the journey a storm started to rise, the dust choking and tearing at exposed skin. The Reverend's party continued at a pace, with Kornfield explaining to Hilaire that Yig would protect them.

After a seemingly endless march through the storm, it abated temporarily allowing the heroes to see a rocky escarpment. Half way up was a cave and ducking into it was the Reverend, Hilaire and the rest of the pilgrims.

"I told you it was a fucking cave 5 five episodes ago" Derrick was heard to mutter as the credits rolled…..
