Or maybe not.
I was happily congratulating myself on very nearly finishing 2 forces of Romans for Infamyx2, the last 6 figures to do plus some casualty markers.
And I’m missing a sword from one figure, so I go into the lead store to find the box of itinerant weapons.
And I discover a tool box of bare metal Romans, enough for another force plus extra emperors, lictors and personalities and cavalry!! And another two!! for effect.
Living in Newark just a cycle ride from Foundry was very expensive
I’m wondering how big Infamyx2 will go.
Of course I could flog them off, but I’m reading The Year of 4 Emperors by Gwyn Morgan and it’s got me all excited to do Civil Wars

4 emperors is good, you can do Vespancians supporters and then 14th gemina Legionaries for Vitessian, as well as the Batavian revolt and German incursians and Gallic revolt, and judean campaign.

Shhhh.. stop encouraging him, he really doesn't need a second Roman force and I would be more than happy to take the figures off his hands..

That should be quite something to see. I am afraid I have been prepping, purchasing and prevaricating rather than painting. So preparing all the Sabots, ordering new ones, adding markers, undercoating, deciding I need new shield decals, etc. And then the odd purchases, Victirx Numidians, Spanish, Greek Theurophoroi, etc. All of which has allowed me to defer the bit where I actually do some painting.

Don't worry, that will be happening too. Newline Gauls, Chariots, Cavalry, etc this week when the missus isn't looking,
Prepped a batch of 20 plus some command figures, but I need quite a few more.
And I cocked up, and used the two last warbases 40mm casualty dials. to add some more fervour markers, when I had earmarked them for Infamy Force Morale counters.. doh! So that means another warbases order, which is fine, as I Need to get something to whack those chariots on.. etc.
