Thanks Penda. I suspect that at a distance, and surrounded by other buildings, a plastered tower will probably irritate me more than one with the stones the wrong way.

I really don’t think it will be noticeable .weather it a lot and put loads of ivy growing up the tower to break up the lines perhaps.

If you really want to disguise the effect then attach Viking shields to the outside,

Yeah, I’d thought about ivy on some of the areas I wasn’t happy with. On that note, who makes some, or do you normally go with flock/foliage for this kind of thing?

I think mine is from army painter but most of the flock/foliage companies do stripes of ivy I think

I must admit, in hindsight, I wish I had gone with the 6 roller deal, for pavement, stone bricks, cobblestones, Dutch brick, alien hive, and one of the technical ones like Necron.

Not finished yet but made some progress on a 6 figure unit of Polish Guard Lancers this morning.

The 2nd Squadron will be Red Lancers. The full unit will look rather dandy when finished.
