I really should paint some stuff before buying a whole load more, ha ha ha ha ha ha...
And now having played a fun game of Dux B hosted by Jeremy, I'm contemplating some Picts and Britons.

Dux B is an elegant game, and when played as a campaign game is even better. The Lardie Specials also hava an excellent adaption of it for the Trojan Wars.

It played very well. And it's obviously Lardie heritage. The card combinations were a lot of fun. I just need to find some interested opponents locally.

One of those pleasant surprises yesterday. I picked up a Mig 3 bottle paint set from Chester Models and it turns out to be cheaper than Ebay. I got the 1944-45 German Armour set for £7.50.

I'm so far not buying in the Newline sale. I've decided their Biblicals are too good. Sticking to the old school theme.

It's nice to see that Fighting 15s have their wormhole drive back up and running after lockdown and are seemingly able to put stuff in the post to me before I've even ordered it.

The time to start worrying is when they put it in the post before you even knew you wanted it.

Oh.
Must not look. Mustn’t look. I don’t want to do that. Whatever it is.

Nothing you couldn't already do with Lion Rampant using the existing rules and a little bit of historical knowledge. Add a scarf round the helmet on your Normans, and they can be Raymond or Bohemond.
