Exciting purchases for me today. Wilco had 25mm repair washers in the pick 'n mix, they haven't got any now. Got another little pot of Urban Jungle.

A freebie sprue of dwarves tempted me to buy my first copy of MW in years. It hasn't improved. They gave Andy Copestake of Old Glory UK the opinion page at the back. He took 3 columns to say "Modern rules are rubbish ".

It seems an odd theme for a magazine that derives income from advertising new rules to take.
He strikes me as one of those gamers who would tell a novice to go away and study a period for 30 years and then come back for a game.
