I hope I get funky dragoons with krampus hats or the French ones.

Been posting progress this week on our secret clubhouse platform. Brushwork done on the first of 18 Saxon infantry stands. I need to go back and start claiming some points!

Ooh - that's lovely. Care to share how you got the depth in the cuffs in particular? And if Im not mistaken the crossbelts look like they almost have a highlight.. what's that all about?

Re: HMS Priapus' Flying Bridge
Thanks, as always...
The cuffs are basically just the Foundry Teal triad. I did add a little white to a diluted dab of the highlight layer. Sounds fiddly but was really very quick to accomplish. No tricks up my sleeve....And yes, there is a highlight on the cross belts. Another Foundry triad, Buff Leather IIRC. But I highlight most everything on my 6mm work, so just routine stuff.

I confess I also do highlights on 6mm, but they don't come out nearly as nice as yours:

Good work, both of you - keep blowing them up to 28mm size, as it's the only way I can see them!

Holy bum fluff! They're very good.

painting 6mm Rushin Napoleonics drove me bonkers - those are so good, I take my hat off to both of you
