Wonderful weekend as usual. Great company and standard of game/soldiers was top! Great seeing you all.

You guys were way to generous in your gift to me for a bit of old floppy caulk but I shall gladly take it and exchange it for Prussians that will murder your forces next year. 🗡

Well done chaps! It really was awe inspiring! The scenery was outstanding this year and the game brilliantly run!

The weekend went by all too quickly again. Thinking of booking into the forge next year so I'm not chasing myself around on an evening.

I'm sure you've all heard the sad news regarding our beloved President N'dahwehlahweh. Though I'm confident the resulting power vaccum (pardon the pun) will inspire co-operation and a commitment to joint working in order to finally bring peace to the region. Helped by the massive build up of arms on all sides as a detterent for the future. I hear the Bongolese are even attempting to aquire WMDs to foster a lasting peace forever.

It is with great.........regret....that we announce the death of Sir Buxton Alexander Piffles Coggles (45 and a quarter), GCMG, Knight Commander of the Shower and MCC 99 all out. Sir Buxton was defending the vitally important village of [Editors note: check location, it’s some northern dump] and was attacked in his favourite position, well to the rear of his men and exhorting his troops to respond to the underhand attack of some Marxist deviant called ‘Ken’ when he was shot in the head by a ragamuffin cavalry pair looking vaguely Mauve. Or Purple. Despite the bullet missing anything vital, Sir Buxton was pronounced ‘dead’ by the first communist unit to find the body.

Coggles is survived by his fourth wife, Venetia, six mistresses and 36 children.
