Super nice.
I still think you should have painted the horns as penises though
That would have been more beastly

They've been painted as ribbed pointy dildos. Isn't that obscene enough?

I’ve had these figures on my painting table for months. I’ve hated every second of painting them as I simply detest the figures. But I’m cheap and I’d bought them so they will get painted and used. Two units of Nobles for Infamy! Infamy! or one big unit for Operation: Pointy Sticks. All figures from Warlord Games, shield transfers from LBMS.

They look great, but aren't they supposed to be in units of 10? And I totally understand your feelings about the Warlord Gauls, with stances like power lifters squatting, but massed together like that, the effect is much less noticeable.
Do you matt spray theM? because in the first picture, the figure on the left has an iron helmet that is all shiny, but there isn't the same lustre on the 'bronze' pieces?
(Incidentally, I do wish LBMS did Celtic shield designs to fit the Newline figures.)

The rules say 10 but I’m using 12’s and casualty dice. I just don’t like the look of figures individually based on 25mm rounds in movement trays. And this way I can use them for To The Strongest.
Yup, all sprayed with Vallejo matt

Great stuff Jeremy - you've either now completed a load of Gauls or you've picked up Andy's habit of painting only an handful and using the power of photoshop
:o
