Also just ordered "What A Tanker" - now only remains to wait until April 9th.......well, 14th in fact, as I'm picking it up at Salute. Looking at the Warlord/Bolt Action Char 1 Bis platoon deal - 3 tanks for £50 instead of £60; the extra £10 can go on a pack of crewmen and a set of tarps and rolls.

Charlie Foxtrot casualty bases arrived - one of the ten has already been assembled and they seem to fit together quite nicely (huge relief that I haven't accidentally glued the rotating counter shut).

Just ordered a Saxon warband from Footsore miniatures and a bulk buy of shield transfers from Little Big Men. They are much cheaper than Gripping Beast and look like better figures in the Viking/Saxon ranges.

Will have to wait until payday to get the saga books I think, they ain't cheap!

They are much nicer figures I think. I’m collecting a range from their Arthurian Briton range and have a bunch of their inter war range for Ayton ‘19

Do they recommend a scale for this...Basement Mark has expressed an interest....(or alternatively what scale are people intending to use?)
I've said i'm happy to play if he can put up with me calling it "Oooooh, What a Tanker"!

No hard recommendation, I believe the Lardies use 28mm and 15mm and I’ve seen a proposal to use 6mm, it’s pretty much scale neutral. Swap inches for centimetres using smaller scales.

I’ll probably use my 20mm for 1940 and ‘41 and 28mm for ‘44.

I believe 28mm, though Rich is never prescriptive. I have 15mm and 28mm, though we’ll probably use 28mm as that is what Jamanicus had

Sneak preview of a Fenris kickstater, modular Stone ruins for 28mm, starting post-Salute. Various shapes, windows and doorways, small bags of rubble, flat or gable ends etc:

Suspect I’ll be going in for this, usual good quality and quite a few uses.

Just had my last Fenris Kickstarter hand delivered  various undead nastiness for a DR force.

£8.60 postage from Gripping beast for two books and some dice. Doesn't include it until the end. I'm expecting a lot from this rule set!

The Original SAGA was good but had flaws....£8.60!!! I would have been inclined to have purchased it from another trader offering better terms.
