Yes - will you be building an opposition too?

I have already identified several units from the fringes of my Mutiny collection which will fit seamlessly into the Army of Typoo Bhyka. In addition I've started painting up their heavy guns and crew, two sets completed with two more to do. I've bought new units of matchlock men, swordsmen and cavalry from Foundry to match them.

First new elements for the army of Typoo Bhyka, the Tygre of Pendawar. More to see and read about over on my main blog.

More lovely work. Which rules are you thinking of using for this period? (Apologies of you've said before.)

For one terrible moment there, I thought you were going for a Typoo T pun. But it turned out it was just a Typo.

Flipping brilliant. Excellent use of those British in Egypt figures. As always I am in awe of your output and imagination of period . Huzzah.

In answer to the rules question, well probably Black Powder or possibly my own The Devil's Wind. Certainly none of the bijou rules for a handful of figures, I like a decent sized bash.
Currently I'm painting the first of three regular foot units for Typoo's army. I've also got several small cavalry units ready to prime. I'm thinking Typoo's army will probably muster about 300 figures plus guns and nellies while the E.I.C. Army of Pendawar should number about 150 or so. Enough for a decent bash on my 6'x6'6" table in GHQ.

Lovely brush work - and sounds like a nice-sized project. Presumably the EIC army makes up in quality what it lacks in numbers?

Essex Boy has some of those. Except they used to be large cavalry units.....
