I'm watching a Skymaster (The base for Rhodesias 'Lynx' close support and observation aircraft) and a Lockheed Ventura, which was/is used widely post war as a passenger and cargo carrier.

I always preferred the Herc AC-130 version myself; something about a quick-firing 105mm howitzer that stirs the blood (provided you're at the blunt end, obviously).

Just won another Corgi Saladin in seemingly very good re-paintable condition for the princely sum of £1.

I could just get 28mm modern kits from Empress but that's no fun. I was very enthused and inspired by Buff's force composition so I've been keeping an eye on the toy sections of bargain shops and such.
