So that's where you were! Not to rub it in, but there was also the setup email I sent out to everyone stating times for setting up on Saturday morning or Friday evening...! Not to worry though, we had a spare game volunteer who was able to step in and use the table so we'll get you guys sorted for next year instead.
The day itself was a cracking day out and the feedback so far has been very positive. We'll have a report done later tonight and we've uploaded all of the photos to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Battlegroun ... 8890670031 Here's a selection as well:

The games were good. That first one was intriguing for me as it features the GM Convent I’m painting at the moment and it was the first time I’d seen one finished in the flesh. The 1940 Dads Army game (10th Down) was excellent, especially the Oast House.
Quite a few games were using the pre-printed battle mats and mostly looked very good. I foresee one or two of these in my future.

I get lockdown, but I get up again.

That all looks rather super.

I know when to stay in

I was interested by the Home Guard game as they did something for Bolt Action rules that my group in SA had done previously, also in a Home Guard game, and that was to give individual figures dice as opposed to units. Works well.
I though the ACW games in particular were excellent eye candy.

I was rather taken with the 10mm ACW game. If only all my stuff wasn't 15mm...

But if your stuff was 10mm I couldn't have sold you lots of my stuff.Count Belisarius wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 8:57 pm I was rather taken with the 10mm ACW game. If only all my stuff wasn't 15mm...
Excellent looking show. Maybe I'll have to head north next year (yes, I know 'blah blah lost blah blah').

What was the AWI game, who was running it, and what rules were they using?
