So, we let Randall run across the narrow creaky bridge over the lava flow towards the hostile voice ok?
And then we go the other way, right?

Memories of you leaving him to climb the cliff while being dive bombed by nightgaunts

Hilaire looked into the steam-filled room of mechanical horror and decided better of it, closing the door behind him. As the other team members investigated further down the corridor Dr Singh tried to look inside the room hoping for scientific wonders. The door didn't open for him like it did for Hilaire so he wedged a screwdriver in the lock and the door slid partially open, he slipped inside and it then snapped back shut behind him…

Meanwhile the heroes had rounded the corner coming upon two voormi's with a trolley full of dismembered corpses and a serpent man with a cool looking whip. Multiple shots were pumped into the yeti like creatures and soon the serpent man was left on his own - he turned and fled but tripped up and Derrick managed to shoot him through the back of the head before he could escape.

In the meantime Dr Singh looked into one of the bubbling vats. It contained a strange skeleton with flesh and organs growing from it and also a more complete version, a giant musclebound serpent man. He panic fired his flame pistol to little effect and it responded by grinning and lashing out it's vast tongue, wrapping round his torso and trapping him.

The other heroes heard some squealing and Hilaire rushed back to open the door to be faced with the sight of the ophidian beast squeezing the life out of Dr Singh. Some shots were fired, then Derrick called upon his knowledge of the Elder Gods and incanted the words of power to shrivel the soul of the beast. It screamed in pain as one of its eyes burned up and it turned to take its revenge. Singh , barely alive managed to run out of the door just as Hilaire threw a stick of dynamite in and closed up the room. No one wanted to check if it was dead.

Some other rooms were investigated. It seems that the only way to open doors is with a dead serpent person's hand or Hilaire's hand. How odd. A storeroom with gurgling baby suits and flame bracelets was discovered.

Rounding a corner , Randall saw a tunnel with a river of magma running across it and a narrow rock bridge. From the other side there was a flickering blue-grey light and echoing down the corridor the sound of a shrill and angry woman's voice shouting - in English - "Caduceus are in the facility! They must be found and destroyed". Quick as a flash Randall ran onto the perilous bridge over the molten river below….

Tune in next time for the inevitable "bridge crossing" rolls…..

Plaintive cries of "aren't we going to discuss this?" echo in my wake.

Discuss away... I smell Big Plot.

Nothing odd about it, I just happen to have a good hand span, you should hear me play Tchaikovsky on the old joanna some time.

Makes a nice change, we normally smell something else coming from you when there’s danger
