Couldn't resist. The now on the website Rubicon Tiger II. My chance to do some Volksgrenadiers and a whitewashed Tiger II. Great value including pe parts and a full interior. Going to be interesting comparing it to my Bandai 1/48 version... now if only Warlord would get their act together and send me the 25 Nov order... Battle of the Bulge, here we come.

And a totally unwounded Telly Savalas sitting in a turretless Chafee.....

Tsk tsk... anyway, it will be a nice little project and I checked out a non SS schwere panzer unit to use, so the airbrush will need a workout. I'm just peeved that I don't have spare change to pick up a 'snow' mat.

An almost irresistible bargain on Ebay. 8 sprues of Wargames Factory armoured Dark Age warriors for £5.

All they need are weapons, ..and shields, .. and heads.

That’s about £5 more than I’d pay. I binned all mine when I left SA. God they were horrible!

I confess I had some as well, and didn't have the patience (or skill) to make them look human... not binned, just in a box.

It's out, and Rubicon has told me it has now been posted and on its way.. Hurrah!

And I used the Osprey Pre-Christmas deal to order myself, Rebels and Patriots, Dragon Rampant, The Men Who Would be King and Pikeman's Lament.

Warlord Games also tell me that they have now posted my mixed set of squads to make up a Volksgrenadier platoon to go with the Tiger II. Now I just need a schwimmwagen and a Sdkfz 251.
