Further to the above.

Every year we put up stringy things with little pegs attached for the purpose of displaying Christmas cards from friends and family. This year, the stringy things are only half full.

Debbie blames the postie. I've suggested that I'm getting to the age where such is the natural order of things.

I bought another Oldhammer Dorf standard bearer last night. And some lovely terrain bits and bobs from Iron Gate Scenery. They’re nice enough to have a 20% sale off

These are far away in my ordering plans, but soon they’ll be small (in my hands):

Oh.. Gwan Gwan Gwan... I have no idea why I would want these, but given I have exactly the same number of rulesets I could use them in, as the Marines vs Aliens set I purchased... never say never. VBCW, Sealion or alien invasion perhaps?

Oh, and I succumbed with a Rubicon order of a Schwimmwagen and 251 for the Winter Germans.

Funny - from all your previous posts on here, I would have thought you'd have gone for half empty.....

A peg is not just for christmas. You could make soldiers from them.

These are not mine but shows what can be done with old fashioned wooden pegs.

Yes Mark. You're not helping one little bit.

I've been considering the potential for little wooden toy soldiers for many years - I think it was after seeing something very similar to your piccies. There's a chap, in Americaland, who has multiple armies made from wooden craft shapes. They are sooooooooo cute. And so very clever.

Now, move along. Nothing to see here.
