What size bases are you using for your chariots? I must haul out the Newline I have and see if they will fit on 100 x 50. Or go cut some additional MDF.
So I've ordered a box of the Victrix chariots. How could I not, since 4 is bigger than 2, and also given the awesomeness in the kit and the decals available. They have integral reins and once I get a sense of how they look, I'll probably go to the craft store and get some jewelry stuff - they seem to have all kinds of plasticized and flexible strands in different diameters and extrusion profiles that could be suitable. I'll report back when I'm on to that phase of the build.

I made my bases 100x50 and used a FoW pillbox as a jig to make my rounded corners consistent. I haven't seen Newline's models but I'd expect they'd fit. Hope my Victrix models do too.

Those are stunning, there’s something very theatrical and dramatic about the painting that really suits the models :clappy:

Nothing more theatrical than a big dong riding two horses at once.

Thank you all, gentlemen.

Back from a brief hiatus, during which I was away from my painting desk. I present another nude dude.

Love the way you handle flesh tones. I see he's been running through bramble (blackberry) bushes..
