singles with movement trays and sabots will work well with most sets of rules nowadays. The specific-basing approach seems have gone since the DBxx/FOG days. I've always been collecting my forces with the view I could use them with WAB, WFB, HC, various Rampants etc

Here’s a link to the Lardies set Fred (they had Infamy as the original name, then changed it to a trial name of D&V as some people have problems with TFL’s more humorous names, but Rich sensibly reverted to the original name - thus the blog entries appear under both names. It’s not confusing in the slightest )

Having read the blurb, he does my absolute pet hate in the period. They were NOT barbarians, the Gaul Ceasar put to fire and sword was a more advanced civilisation than Rome ever reached.
