I reckon the decals look great, as do the hand-painted ones up thread. As far as I am concerned, anyone dextrous enough to be able to apply decals to 28mm figures is dextrous enough to do an amazing job of hand-painting... :)

So you know the phenomenon?
As far as I am concerned, anyone dextrous enough to be able to apply decals to 28mm figures is dextrous enough to do an amazing job of hand-painting.
If only that was true. It's easy to put a blob of water or setting solution on the figure, place the decal and push it into position with a cotton bud- which conveniently soaks up the excess liquid and lets the decal settle. Try that with paint.
