Oh yes, I see it now.

That's with the Genius discount and without the breakfast (£12.50 x 3), and it's in the Courtyard. Certainly cheaper, but for another three quid a night you get a breakfast and a room in the Lodge.

It's a good price that Iain has squeezed out of them.

Booking.com does offer cheaper - 75.5 (plus breakfast if you like that sort of thing at 12.5 = 88) but you need a high genius discount AND the mobile app.

Staying thurs or sun brings the average price down since Fri/Sat are the most expensive nights. If just staying fri/sat then Booking.com is only cheaper if you skip breakfast

I keep forgetting the app..

It's me age.

I'm conscious that some people don't like the Courtyard rooms which, I suspect explains the lowest prices. Like I say, the Lodge's offer is for rooms in the main building. Still, you pays your money and you takes your choice.

Anyway, like I says, you pays your money etc.

Oh yes, and another thing.

Booking.Com pays to the hotel the full amount of the Genius discount, so it is rather difficult for the Lodge to beat the price we would pay to B.c.. So well done them.

Isn't this fun.

The meaty breakfast is good. With fried bread.
