Those are great Auxillaries, nice poses and the battlefield medicine vignette is rather good but I can't see an Ye old ventilator and oxygen tank anywhere though

Cheers VB. My Romans are anti-maskers and have robust serum levels of vitamin D. Minimal comorbidities. Respiratory problems are the least of their concerns!
Now, some leadership for the legions and alae.
I present (L to R): Penetrato Duplex, Phallus Elephantis, and Infercio Masculorum.
More legionaries to share soon, thanks to a timely arrival of shield transfers...

They, look great. That's definitely a Gallic Auxiliary Commander
Are they the Warlord metals? My own EIR are largely the Foundry Saleh sculpts, with Asterix the Gaul Metal Magic Officers.
Does anyone have dimensions for the LBMS shield transfers? The Saleh figures are not listed separately on the LBMS site, so I don't know whether the standard Foundry ones will fit.

Thanks Shah, they are WL metals, except the guy in the middle. He's a Saleh sculpt from Gorgon Studios. I'm not sure on the Sales shield transfers. But Foundry's shields are considerably larger than WLs, maybe they used the same ones for both the Perry and Saleh sculpts?

Excellent painting, especially the skin tones.

I am going to have to just bite the bullet, and order some of the Foundry sized LBMS ones and hope for the best. As you say.. it would have made sense for them to use the same shield sizes for both ranges.
I wasn't familiar with Gorgon Studios, so thanks for the steer. It's a nice figure. (and the brushwork certainly doesn't hurt it!)

Many thanks, everyone.
Dave and Veebs - The recipe is pretty simple. Foundry flesh triad with the base applied in 2-4 thin layers over the shadow. Then highlight and maybe a little white depending on the figure.
One other thing would be that I’ve been using thinned contrast paint here and there almost like a pi wash on armor to heighten contrast while maintaining some visual gradation. Not systematic so I don’t have a better explanation - just use it where I think it will make the figure look better. Hope that all makes sense.
