Accidentally stress tested my packing today when, for no apparent reason, two "Really Useful Boxes" full of shinies and one of 28mm Rhodies etc...launched themselves off of a chair and went crashing onto the floor, rolling like the General Lee in a late episode of Dukes Of Hazard!
So far can't see any sign of damage at all but i'll take some superglue to Ayton just in case someones lost a head or something!

Nooo, it is a motivational moment. Tell them, fight well or it is back into the box with you....

Clearly the omens are against us at the moment, last night some complete retard did their level best to write my car off, causing some extremely distressing damage as it sat by the kerb minding it's own business. Which has allowed us to lose hours of precious life, hanging on telephones talking to insurance Nazis, and arguing that we are entitled to a courtesy car as we are the innocent parties in all of this. Life? Don't talk to me about life. Paul, as much as I am hoping your boys suffered no damage, I am making sacrifices to the Gods that our car is repairable as opposed to a write off, and that the Insurer is as helpful as their adverts claim.

Tim, if you have no vehicle for the weekend, I am happy to swing by on the way to Ayton and collect you.

Gary, that is an enormously generous offer. Trouble is I'm going up on Thursday, and have a shed load of stuff to take as well.

The shed load of stuff is no problem, I have a large estate car so can probably manage. Unfortunately I can't go on Thursday though, Caroline doesn't get back from Devon until Thursday evening, so I'm heading off Friday morning. If you need me to transport stuff, just shout and I'm sure we can work something out

Cheers Gary. If all other efforts fail I shall take up your most kind offer. Thank you.

Everything crossed...hopefully the Gary option could be a valuable fallback.
