If I go, it will be more because I bought a car that hasn't had a decent run yet, and I feel like being inspired.
Let's hope that that isn't the motoring equivalent of "I just finished painting and basing these - it's their first
ever tabletop battle, you know!"
I bloody hope not... it wasn't cheap. I don't hold with leasing at my age and with employment volatility being what it is...
Its all a bit hi tech for me though. Screamed at me for not being in my lane. Took me ages to figure out why cruise control wasn't maintaining speed... bloody adaptive thing slowing me down. If I wanted to go the same speed as the car in front I would...

I'm still contemplating Claymore. It's 3 and a half hours there and back, and in recent years, it has really just been a copy of Carronade. If I go, it will be more because I bought a car that hasn't had a decent run yet, and I feel like being inspired.
its reading like a Dominic Cummings press conference
Nah, I bought two new pairs of specs a fortnight ago...

Oh well. If anyone is going, say hi. You'll be able to spot me easily, average height, overweight, 60'ish.. and a 'humorous' t-shirt... err.

Finally made a start on some 15mm Pikemen tonight. Taking a while to get my eye back in, and 15mm is a big change from all the 28mm I was painting earlier this year.

They look excellent. I must admit I have several (read.. many) 15mm armies awaiting paint from the days when I played ancients a lot. But I haven't played a 15mm ancients game since Nov 18th 2018.Not sure if I will ever paint them.

I don't think I've played an ancient game since 2016....
