Took a brief sabbatical from
les anciens to get these Bob Murch sculpts off the lead pile. Flint & Feather miniatures for some small skirmishes set in pre-contact North America. Lovely figures, but not as simple to paint as they might look. Lot's of not so obvious details appeared once they were blocked in. Tribal, Primal or the actual F&F rules on the menu for some February gaming.
Ready for more war paint and tattoos. And, of course, some flicking and basting.

Those are really good. I started painting some woodland Indians for my AWI forces and realise they weren't the simple and quick job I had assumed.
Yours are just great, nice subdued tones, nicely blended and interesting skin colours and each figure you're spotting something else that's a cool piece of detail.

Lovely - I understand the sentiment - I've painted the flesh so they are finished but now I have to add a few markings?

Wow! Very nice.
The painting goes without saying, but the bases are particularly splendid as well.
