Those are the old Wargames Factory designs aren't they? I picked up some of the AWI offerings and they are awful.

The WSS are not bad, the guns are nice.

Before I get accused of being a Perry Fanboi, I'm glad someone else thinks that. They look like body-builders at a history pageant.

Well, the infantry were very nice, but the cavalry were pretty bad, as I recall.

Now they are good - been tempted by them a few times, but managed to resist.

The Warlord WSS infantry and guns (ex Wargames Factory) are very good I think. The cavalry are abominations.

My only criticism of the infantry is that the 'command' figure options result in rather awkward looking characters. I'd like to use metal alternatives, but I'm not sure what would 'fit'.

Any suggestions?

Anything plastic in 28mm is an abomination and flies in the face of the natural order of the universe in my opinion.😤
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

You and Andy are of a like mind........something to be a bit worried about if you ask me.

I'm not a fan of plastic 28mm figures..........but they're soooooo cheap. I'm such a tart sometimes.

Good that you're now limiting that behaviour to "sometimes".....
