Why am I having trouble getting 'enthused' by this period? On paper it's got everything I enjoy, semi-historical background, diverse troops, an RPG element and plenty of opportunity for shenanigans...but i'm just not feeling it. Whilst i'm keen to get painting again on the Shinies, Trojans and tiny Napoleonics (naval and land) I have no drive to going on the VBCW. Do I need to take myself outside and have a word
It is quite far away though. I’m all sexed up with the SYW again at the moment so enjoying the enthusiasm, i’m Sure as it gets closer and people start popping out some pictures of stuff and back stories - you’ll feel an uncontrollable twinge of arousal.

Nice to see Peeler so flexible regarding the year.
BTW chaps, I have heard no tales regarding the wedding reception in the Lodge, did they cancel it after learning you would be on site?
A complicated situation that we won’t go into but culminated in one unnamed Loose Ass Gamer, stuffed into a size 10 wedding dress and Pith helmet being asked to leave the dining room after an unfortunate incident involving a pepper pot, a widow and a small brown alpaca...
What happens in East Ayton Lodge...

You're the only one with any hope of getting into a size 10 dress...

He would need heels to make it work though. Purps is more of a 'Childs Large' which would be an odd size for a wedding dress outside of Alabama.

So I'm starting to think about this again and how to do some planning. Could people please give me an idea of the force they are bringing
-Alignment (Royalist/Fascist or Anglican/Republican/Communist or non-aligned/independent/bonkers)
- specific Faction/Nationality/Institution for your force
- Size of force (approximate only e.g. platoon + supports, or 2 platoons etc - don't need specific numbers etc yet)
If there's anything you don't want others to see then PM me
