Always liked Russian hussars, mainly because of the lance-armed front rank.

I like your rushing green. Looks much better than the shade of greenish black some people use.

Funnily enough it looks a lot lighter on camera than it does in real life. I used to lighten it due to having seen Bondarchuk's 'War & Peace' in the early 90s. In that the rank-and-file had very faded, almost khaki coats, while the officers had high-quality dark bottle-green coats. It reminded me of references to British coats and how the officers had scarlet, while the rankers had faded brick red.

The wife has finally resigned herself to the fact that until lockdown ends, I need to openly play with myself in the house at least once a month...
