Is that one of your latex pathways, Kerry? I have to say it looks damned good.

"A few days in Christchurch..." that brings back very mixed memories of the end of my New Zealand holiday.

I'm not the best painter- and a worse photographer- but I was told some of you may be interested in my SYW collection. I've painted about half the figures, the other half being painted for money, but I've done most of the lace and smaller details, and made (most of) the flags and the decals for the mitres and 15LD helmets, so I have no trouble claiming them as mine. It's not a blog, just a collection of photos on my server.
Cheers.

15mm. Rather excellent painting and impressive numbers.
Can I ask you about your French artillery carriages? I noticed you have both red & blue ones - me, too.
My reason is that I couldn't nail down which was correct, so I hedged my bets. Have you found out something more concrete such as a date they moved from one colour to the other?

G'day, Donald.
To quote the article by Digby Smith on Kronoskaf: "The change to blue occurred very soon after the Vallière reform of 1732". The reason the siege gun is red is the same as why two Hannover guns are British grey- I'll get around to re-painting them "soon". The figures aren't all that well painted, but they're still impressive on the table. Now to get the Brit-Han contingent, and some of the other new units, blooded.
Cheers and thanks for the kind words, mate.
