So now I'm googling 'biggest autogyro' and I get the 100-passenger Kamov KA-22, which kind of squeaks in because one of its flight modes is under unpowered rotors.

Anything can fly briefly. I was in a chopper with a sheared off tail rotor which flew briefly.

Right, booked in for Lake District Gyroplanes. The next Friday that has viable flying weather, I'm going to fly an autogyro. You lot can have me toy soldiers if I scatter meself over the fells.
