So close!
If you just put in a bit of effort you could have a big, impressive army there.

Dave, Iain, are you still planning on taking part? Are you bringing stuff or borrowing? I'm trying to figure out opposing forces, table size, scenario etc.
Jeremy, what wrong with buying more figures? The one with the mostest wins. First rule of wargaming.

Given that you guys all have heavy infantry armies I find myself in the unusual position of not having enough troops! My Trojans are exclusively medium and light troops, with no cavalry, so I will need a bucket load to stand up to legionaries and Libyan spearmen.
I have:
4 units of medium infantry with long spears
2 units of medium infantry with javelins
2 units of light infantry with javelins
2 units light infantry archers
2 units of Lukka warband
2 units of Myrmidons (badass warband)
Lots of small units of skirmishing javelins and slingers
5 or 6 (depending on whether I finish the next batch of painting) units of chariots

Only my African Veterans and armoured Gauls are heavy. Rest are medium or light.

Yes please, I definitely still want to take part and will happily command any spare figs going.

Well as usual I think am behind in the vast armies stakes…… Here are my forces. All the hoplites count as proper hoplites but I’m not rebasing them to be 3 deep . Gary any of these can be upgraded or downgraded in terms of quality and armour - whatever helps balance out
Standard Units
Corinthian Hoplites x 2 (20 each)
Spartan Hoplites x 1 (20)
Theban Hoplites x 2 (16 Each or if needed combine into a big 32 man unit)
Athenian x 2 (24 each)
Boeotian x 1 (24)
Mercenary Hoplites x 1 (20)
Theban Peltasts (30 Men)
Greek Peltasts (16)
Boeotian Cavalry (10)
Thessalian Cavalry (12)
Small Units
Scythian Archers (10)
Javelinmen (12)
Slingers (10)

Well, it looks like my new IT Kit for my new job is gonna take 5-7 business days to come, so I'm looking at most of the week as 'free holiday' next week....I'll get those extra Dacians painted up, so that'll give us an extra 60 infantry to play with
and I'll make a mounted commander for them
