Essex Boy wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2019 5:26 pm I should have said, my army will be Lamming and Minifigs stuff.

I need to find some cheap toy elephants about two inches high at the eye.
I have an assortment of 'old', probably 25mm, elephants with howdahs, etc. I suspect they're either hinchliffe or minifigs bought in the 80s. Are they any good to you? I have 3 or 4
Oooh sounds interesting.

If they're Hinchcliffe I think they'll be spot on. Minifigs may be a bit too pedestrian for my taste.

Do you have them at your fingertips, or can you remember what they look like?

Quite right.

I've gone for individually based. Foot are on 18mm squares which which fit into sabots which bring the unit frontage up to the equivalent of 20mm per figure frontage.

If you look in the encyclopedia under "Making problems by solving ones that aren't really problems", there's a copy of that post!

(Although i'm rather hoping it was a finely crafted comedy post in the first place)

Yeah, I'll stick with 20mm squares and 5mm margin movement trays like the GW produced Warhammer trays you can see in the various WAB supplements. My usual Warbases trays in fact.

Opinion is divided in the WAB community:
- Iain uses custom made 18mm bases with specialist sabots.
- Everyone else in the world uses 20mm and movement trays

Please, clearly the WAB community are SO wrong. And the fact that they even deign to challenge the Master of Bases is ludicrous!
