Bugger me! That's all rather good.

Good to see Ian Anderson can still cut a rug.

Happy new year to all. Been awhile, so I'll catch up here quickly.

Bought some print files over the summer, and really like Piano Miniatures' stuff. So after a false start with these Wurttembergers, I decided to hold off and await their Tyrol Rebellion KS.

Adding odds and sods incrementally to the Montrose which I was sharing previously.

Image

The Badenoch militia was the last unit needed.

Image

And now have all the battalia present at Tippermuir. Some Irish and vignettes below.

Major effort has been focused on the Russo-Persian War instead. Camel guns (and British advisor)

Cossack mounts awaiting riders.

Cossack horse holder. One planned for both the Ural and Don groups, respectively.

For when they dismount, of course.

Persian line infantry

Persian militia

First of my Persian command figures.

17th Jaegers did the heavy lift for the Russians in this theatre. First group of several.

Persian line cavalry and a priest. Persian horse will be a mix of line troops and Kurds (see second comparison photo)

Test figure for the Dons

Image

Green stuff conversions to make some Ciracassian skirmishers for the Persian force.

Bagage train for Persians. Wagon for Russians and Cossacks looting will be the equivalent.

And a quick detour into 0200 Hours.

Denison: 1st Attempt

Dension 2nd attempt:

Denison, 3rd attempt. This time on some Royal Marine Commandos.

A downed pilot for various scenarios.

And, lastly, the Germans

I'll doing another collaborative project this year. MASSIVE PHALANX OBJECT AHEAD.

Around 10 of these will make the Phalanx Object...

Image

Making some bespoke shield transfers.

Image

Image

Here they are next to commercial specimens.

Image

Each element within the Phalanx Object generates Ekdromoi - or hoplite skirmish types who try to drive off psiloi. These will form one of those little groups.

Right. I'm gobsmacked. Just gorgeous. And now I know my own version of the Alps Aflame figures will be massively upstaged...

That's really impressive, mate. I particularly like your Württemburgers and Irish, plus it's good to see someone else doing their own decals. Are you using an inkjet or laser to print them?

Agreed, those Wurttemburgers look excellent. I see our Alps Aflame STL are due to drop today as well...

Does that include the Bavarians?

So, HPFP, how many of you are there working on all that lot, because no mere mortal would be able to complete all of those projects in just one lifetime. The Greeks especially look like a BST (Biblical-Sized Task) in progress.

Would he......?
