On the one hand I'd agree with you. On the other we've seen his levels of incompetence. Murder really isn't a possibility

In the words of the great Jewish detective, Shylock Holmes, "once you eliminate all the scrotes who've paid you off, whoever is left - however improbable - was the one what done it!"

I'm pretty sure that you have quoted from the RAF Police Special Investigation Branch training manual there.
There opening line to me as a nervous 16 year old apprentice went along the lines of, "Tell us why you did it and we'll go easy on you." I wouldn't have minded but I was only a witness. Nothing over the next 26 years improved my opinion of them.

We had a long service vet from that organisation as head of security at BAe Kingston-Dunsfold-Weybridge. During his tenure we had a 1/8 scale Sea Harrier model "disappear" from the staff canteen after an awards ceremony during the 1990 strike; as the person who had requisitioned the use of the model for the event, I was the only person he interviewed about its "removal" despite several strikers being overheard boasting in the local pubs about "liberating" it.

Tonight our misfit band of Citizens have to report back on their findings over the murder of the (possible) printer of Revolutionary pamphlets and his family. I do hope the riot outside the bakery hasn’t escalated. That would be a dougher situation.
