Fascinating! You can lose a lot of time there if you aren’t careful. I did.
Thanks for putting it up.

Just spent an hour reading two quite long ones. Mind-boggling.

Thanks for putting that up, Norm.

I'm sure next time they'll pick the right side first off, or not.

For 2020, can you please define the right side. Show your working.

Just remember if Churchill had had his way, Britain would have been at war with the USSR and Nazi Germany, at the same time.

Since they both attacked Poland, weren't we (at least theoretically) at war with both of them anyway?

And they'd both have had to cross the Channel to get to us.

No, our guarantee specifically covered an attack by Germany. I think there was some thought of bombing them but I don't think it came to anything. They were supplying the Nazis chromium and tungsten right up until several hours after the attack. A delicious irony given that the tungsten came back as the only shot that could penetrate the T34 and KV1.

To answer your question, any side that doesn't operate a gulag or use WMD on their own citizens.

I think Andorra and Monaco might also be in with a shout on that one.

Flemish Belgium, maybe. Still wouldn't trust an unsupervised Walloon.
