Early Byzantine Skutatoi and Command Base Group Shots

From messing around a bit yesterday morning. I took a few of shots of the Skutatoi Shieldwall with the Command Base and a couple of close ups of the Skutatoi on their own which will hopefully portray some of the dynamics of the unit as they work collectively in defence.

Two daylight lamps and a Pansonic Lumix DC-FZ82. Nothing very fancy. Just practice and getting used to the camera. It's amazing how different cameras can be.

Thanks, that's very kind of you.
Knowing the reputation re: steadfastness, (or lack of!) of 6 CE Byzantine Skutatoi when not stiffened by some of the Kavalaroi regiments, they might not be as angry a look as first meets the eye
