Wargamers can be "Dicks" too!

Post by Paul »

A quick warning to those of us who sell on Ebay and the small manufacturers who I know are on here too.

There seems to be a current spree of people making orders from small Wargames firms and then claiming that the order was not delivered and demanding a refund with menace. Normally this is along the lines of "I will destroy your company on the internet".
I haven't encountered this but know a few who have and they normally feel bullied into making a refund despite having evidence that delivery was made to the address provided. Unfortunately the majority of issues seem to arise from buyers in the USA, but that may be an artefact of it being an international order and US manufacturers may find that they have more issues with UK buyers.

There really are some wankers out there. Reminds me of that tosser in Buff Orpington's neck of the woods, who was ordering stuff from Peter Pig (among others), demanding a refund for non-receipt and then adding insult to injury by re-casting the items he 'didn't receive' and selling them on eBay!

I loved the letter from Clive Jones, "practasing (sic) solicitor of law". The bad spelling alone ought to get him struck off!

Or, conversely, an invite to Trump's legal team.

There should be a register of these tossers, so that people can avoid them.

Or find them. :purps:

Having met him, I'd willingly pay extra for those not to appear.....

I was assuming it would be the traditional blue serge from ankle to throat. A burka would be a bonus.....
