Can anyone ID this MG? The weapon itself looks like a Gardner gun but the carriage doesn't.

It's a Nordenfelt.

The carriage is a 'Naval Landing Carriage'.

Indeed it a Nordenfelt gun.

The word is 'surprised'... A friend actually owned one.

Now the weapon has been ID'd, can anyone throw any light on what range of figures it come from. This is a photo I found that shows the set it's part of.
