Spencer Smith Austrian Sapper conversions from the grenadier figure. I wanted to have ago at painting white uniforms on these figures as its hard to get a good contrast with all white, so I used light grey.

Then 20mm Revell Austrian artillery converted to Austrian Sappers with the Austrian Morris dancing section on the end.

Austrian / Tiberian Morris dancing unit, this unit was used during the great strictly come dancing war of 1750 in Tiberia.
They were employed in confusing the Prussian Army with rapid arm and leg movements.
Sadly wiped out to a man during an Indian foot rot epidemic of 1759.

Finally Revell 20mm Prussian infantry painted as Reich Army Varrel infantry.

The grey works very well, Willz.

So sad to hear of the demise of the Tiberian Morris Dancing Team. They could have been a war winner, with bells on.

Cheers for everyone's kind comments, I have been trying to get a good grey / white to paint my Austrians for years, I think this one will work.
The Morris dancers should have been the war winner but due to a stores delay the white hankies got lost which would have been very useful to dry their feet during the foot rot epidemic. ;) .

As an aside, there have been two Royal Navy ships called HMS Morris Dance in the 20th Century:

HMS Morris Dance (1919), a Dance-class minesweeper, WW1
HMS Morris Dance (T117), a Dance-class trawler, WW2

I suspect that, much like the crew of HMS Pansy/Heartsease, they were really glad that wartime security required that the name be removed from the caps when ashore.
