As always you do the one true period great justice. Wonderful pictures and good to read that General Bykleigh gained a notable victory over the blackguard Rawnsley.
I enjoyed your blog piece dated 13 May, regarding legacy (for want of a better word). Oh and if any of those ACW units come up for redeployment.................. But it is something I have been considering myself. You are lucky in that Matt will no doubt inherit much of the collection, but I do dread my lot just ending up in a skip. I have asked a good friend to act as a wargames executor which put my mind at rest.
Bravo Mr B.

That’s a good point Tim. l’ve always expect my mates to step up to the plate and get the best price possible for my miserable collection so my wife can finally get some enjoyment out of my hobby.

With Duncan's recent sad passing I feel this is an issue more of us might be quietly thinking on. But taking Aly Morrison's advice I shall focus more on enjoying what I have and do while I still can!
