If it makes you feel any better, I wondered why my Satnav took me one junction down the M62 before putting me back onto the A1 slip at Ferrybridge. It took me about 20 minutes to go round the queue.
I think many of the roads were somewhat buggered, but an anticipated half hour delay turning into two hours was not amusing.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

And....there's more.......you may have noticed that I have a bit of an issue with technology but even I was scrambling for the satnav when I saw the warning of the A1 delay. This was the first rental car in ten years that didn't have a satnav. Fecking barsteward Enterprise Car Hire.
