It's suddenly occurred to me that after painting yet more Germans for King Louis, it doesn't seem as though there were many actual Frenchmen in the French Army of the Seven Years War... ;)

Well, it's difficult to be shot at by foreigners abroad AND be a revolting peasant at home at the same time.

As I've written before, the French may not know how to fight but, By God, they know who to hire who can.

My French SYW Etranger infantry are to be relied on. The "white coats", not so much.
