Luverly plains and Sikhs Slug.

The Brits in the Sikh wars are magnificent. Line infantry in a sort of red French Wellingtonic uniform, horse artillery in a sort of dragoon uniform, Gurkhas, wots not to like?

And that minaret has a penetrating quality to it.
I can recommend the following books;
The First Anglo-Sikh War & The Second Anglo-Sikh War by Amarpal Singh. My only quibble is with the maps but otherwise excellent books.
Osprey has just recently bought out The First Anglo-Sikh War 1845-46 which has much better maps and of course colour plates.
Osprey also publish The Sikh Army 1799-1849 which has more detail on the creation and history of the Khalsa.
