"Coven" a dark fantasy game from the writer of Barons War etc...
I'm interested but just because it's a bit weird :D
Some of the artwork for the rulebook is lovely though!

It's not grabbing me and I generally go all in on any new fantasy stuff.

It looks like a very much "alternative" fantasy skirmish game with players seemingly vying with warbands of ambiguous moral character, so certainly not for everyone. :)

I’m intrigued purely by the darkness of it

I think the book is pitched a bit high to be honest.
Although for a 200 page Art Book it's not bad and as a rule book is still Cheaper than comparable GW rules! To me it's pitched to reflect where they want the quality of the book to be as most stretch goals seem to be aimed at improving that.
The Nasty "Boss" figures are more like 40mm tall than 28mm which they haven't made really clear (although they are scaled to 28mm). They're on 40mm bases which gives some indication and £7 a pop for those doesn't seem too bad with comparable GW ones selling for two or three times that.
The game is miniature agnostic though, like Frostgrave or RoSD you can use the "Official" ones but you don't have to.
They've just put a comparison photo on the FB page:

The smooth rounded edged bases are the Coven ones.

Nah. This is the kind of thing I reckon is too thin as a basis for a game in its own right.
As a supplement or campaign setting for an existing system? Yeah, looks engaging. That could work.

Added to which, I rate the Barons War rules as needlessly complex and fiddly.
I wouldn't rush to drink more from that well.

I am still undecided about the Barons war rules but this KS fits right in with my Witcher RoSD "collection" so there can be some cross pollination :)
