Yesterday I went over Steve's and we play tested the game I am putting on at Kenilworth Mid June 2022, using my "On the Hoof" fast play rules.
So I thought I would share some photo's with you all. Steve took the French and I took the Prussians.
Mollwitz inspired me in 1972 when I first read "The Wargame" way back then, one of the first books that got me into wargaming.
The fast play rules went well, just needed a few tweaks.

The game played very well my Prussian cavalry took a bashing but one regiment of cavalry and one infantry
battalion managed to pin down 6 French cavalry regiments.
My artillery caused plenty of damage to the French
The Prussian infantry attacked in strength on my right wing and overwhelmed the French.

We used order tokens for the game, they worked very well.

I'm sorry I have had to change my plans and so won't be able to attend this year, and will miss this. It looks excellent.

I've been waiting to see your excellent figures on the field of battle.

Well worth the wait.

That looks rather spiff. Are they all S/Smiths?

Yes they are all Spencer Smith's (one Holker Ericson) mainly plastic.
Cheers for everybody's kind comments and support.
I will get at least 4 games in over the weekend maybe more if I run an evening game
but that tends to be for socialising red wine and the like.

I remember fighting Mollwitz, with my younger brother, using unpainted plastic Spenser Smiths on my parents living room carpet. The carpet was white so it looked a bit like snow.
