Anyone for next year's Ayton not planning on delving into C17th at all?

I hope to be attending and would like to play in the proposed ECW game, but already have loads of 17C armies in 15mm and don't particularly want a 28mm collection. Happy to borrow, but equally happy to participate in a different game. What were you thinking of Andy - anything special in mind?

I'm currently blowing hot and cold over C17th. Won't make a decision just yet but might look at alternatives...

I won't be playing in the C17th game. I had planned for a large cavalry force, but i'm not keen to have another half army either taking up room or heading to Ebay.
I would be up for playing in or hosting (on either or both days):
Lion Rampant in any setting Dark Ages through Crusades and onwards... (Mini campaign or one day game)
Imagi post war in "Kumbayah" or similar setting either straight up Tims rules or something different.
French and Indian War Skirmish (28mm)
Victorian Gothic Horror skirmish game in "not" Venice.
DBA Mini campaign
10mm Egyptian myth/1920's Western forces
Might be up for something new in 10mm or 15mm if anyone has a hankering.

I'm doing a small force that will be Pikeman's Lament sized only. I've already bought some test figures for it so i suppose i'd better complete it. Got no interest in building a bigger force so i guess i'll borrow for the bigger battle.
Long way round of saying i've probably decided to do 17thC !

Lion Rampant sounds good as does a Kumbiyah variant.
Before I depart this earth, I would like to do the 100 days campaign.

Something Dark Age might be good.... Lion R or Baron's W?

I'd be up for that, Lion Rampant 2, doesn't change any of the rules but opens up the period for the Dark Ages. It also changes lots of the High Medieval specific terms.
Barons War might be less easy for others wanting to play if they don't have the rules but that would work for me too.

Argh.. I'm desperate for a Lion Rampant game. Like Simon I'm only painting enough for a Pikemans Lament force, which may get other use outside of Ayton. Would it be bad form to do the little main game and then another non C17th game?
