SYW British Cavalry

Post by RMD »

Following on from the recently-posted generals and artillery, I've been working on the British cavalry...

Very productive indeed - how do you think painting SYW compares with Napoleonics?

Nicely done, mate. I see that Granby chap got himself in front of the camera again.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Thanks fellas.

On the whole, I think SYW is a bit more straightforward than painting Napoleonics, which tend to have a lot more in the way of piped edges to collars, lapels, cuffs, etc. The French in particular are VERY straightforward to paint. Then again, SYW British are an absolute bastard...

Yeah, Granby's a total media-whore! :)
