I used to have two large units of their Landschnekts, bloody glorious little figures.

Medievals were some of my first figures. I am sooo tempted by a few... Just a few..

I seem to recall seeing their figures for the first time back in the early 70s at John Tunstall's shop "Soldiers" in Kennington, very handily placed for a lunchtime excursion when watching cricket at The Oval. I do recall nearly buying some, as they were the only manufacturer at the time to make sergeants for the British infantry - including one of a Fusilier sergeant in his bearskin (I'd just read the Peninsula memoir of Sgt Cooper of the 7th Foot).

I've got to break it to Pembles that he'll have to dump the Newline 20mm ancients I persuaded him to buy, because now we're doing ancients with Lamming toys.
I'm sure he'll be fine about it.

I have a very slow project of Lamming Assyrians. Great figures but small against anything else 25/28mm or big against 20mm

Made in the good old days when 25mm meant 25mm. I was looing at the Assyrians this morning. Such nice little figures. I suspect though that I'll be sending off an order for some Imperial Roman cavalry.......for no good reason that I can think of.
