Finished these today 47th Prussian Fusiliers using Spencer Smith figures. They are from my stash of pre-painted figures, I have lightened the blue added white detail, redone brass (from silver), flesh and metal. Also painted 2 companies of grenadiers to go with the fusiliers.

Lovely painting, Willz.

When are you going to do the fusilier regiment that had the rose pink facings and small clothes?

A pretty unit, Willz. Hopefully they'll do better than they did historically.

I think His Baronness means Krytzen's (IR Nr 40), mate. A unique flag design, as well.

So how many Prussian units have you done thus far?

Actually it was quite a successful uniform. Enemy units were so busy laughing and pointing at Kreytzen's merry band of louts that they forgot to fire, or even keep their dressing (perilous in front of that regiment). Apart from having a battalion routed by hussars, they did reasonably well. They even fought the Swedes.

The Russians and Austrians liked Kreytzen's regiment so much that they each took one of their pretty pink regimental colours home (to St Petersburg and Vienna, respectively)!
