This is a crude attempt and generating some action round here!

Over Five years of Loose Ass fun games now. What’s everyone’s favourite memories both on and off the field?

For gentlemanly discretion, some stories can refer to the individual involved as various individual figure codes.
Ex) “and that’s when Unarmoured Pikeman 6 took the root vegetable by a firm grip...”

So many to choose from,
Purps' valiant attempt to achieve a symbolic victory by destroying the orange tree to deny the bad guys the fruit. The cannon managed to hit an immovable object but failed to wound it.
Ken's Mexicans,
RIchie's lads getting kebabbed by my Cossacks
VB's victory dance on the chair that meant he was nearly as tall as the rest of us.

Off field, the bewildered expressions on the faces of the staff at the Forge when Henry asked for cheese.
The subdued air in the Forge the Friday that Peeler got hospitalised, some of us were afraid he'd never get his round in.

I’m not going to be That Guy who mentions the Gateway cavalry. And their stellar performance on the field. Every time.

I’ll let someone else do it.

Well, I’ve only had 3 LA outings. Two games weekend and Vappa. And I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I shall not document my favourite indiscretions in case they are held against me one day when I run for political office

I did enjoy Tim Hall’s and Peelers faces when my Jocks repulsed their combined infantry and cavalry away from the bridge during the game at Gary’s. :2guns: :kill: :sniper:

And yet they kept coming and the hairy Scots still held the bridge at the end of the day. They were left throwing old boots, empty whisky jars and faeces at their attackers

Well, in no particular order:
. Tits in the window.
. Peeler's elite troops getting trounced by the Natal Native Contingent, whilst under command of you know who.
. Same battle, Gatling gun enfilade and the resultant carnage.
. The rather empty table at the end of Purps' extravaganza last year. The Gateway had vanished!
I'm sure I'll think of more, but that'll do for now.

Running the C19th Colonial bash with EB.
GMs reaction to my Airship in Tims 'VSF' ACW weekend.
The same cavalry unit in my army stomping General E. Pickled one day and capturing the enemy CinC the next. (Even if 'enery wouldn't let the inquisition execute him as a heretic!)
Gms reaction (again) when the Counts Indians dropped out of trees and nobbled GMS guns at Ayton I.
Purps and the Orange tree :D

Henry's last game where GM and I spent the entire of Sunday fighting over a town. I had no idea what had gone on elsewhere as it was so engrossing.

Getting so pissed in the forge that I agreed to run the 2017 event, 2 years ahead of time. The wife's reaction was 'interesting' when I told her I had to book 2 years in advance!

Can I just note that any mention of Orange trees demerits 100 Cress Points.
