Tragic effort this year but a house move and loss of painting desk hasnt helped. Job has been crazy busy and child now capable of keeping me up until the late night.
I have however managed some quality games and have done a lot of sorting out and re-storing so games can be brought out with minimum effort. Once the Christmas decorations are gone and I reclaim the pantry it will be even better.

I was just doing my total for the Review of the Year on my blog and it's significantly down on 2021. I think that's partly down to not doing a show-game this year, but mainly down to the lack of any forum painting challenge competitive motivation this year.
[Corrected to 2021!

Mine was up I think largely because of my efforts in the Analogue Hobbies painting challenge - have just completed an entry for this years challenge

I just looked back at my 2021 kanban and I painted almost an entire 42mm AGW army a load of tanks for Kumbahyah and started my 15mm ECW amongst a few other bits. Just goes to show what a big game can do for the motivation.

Yeah, that's what I lacked this year. I had big plans earlier in the year for a demo game, but had to bin it due to family health uncertainty. Hoping to get something organised this year, now that we've got a far better idea of what we're dealing with.

Fairly good year for me. All are either 28mm or 36mm ‘Legion’ scale
309 infantry
26 cavalry
15 buildings
A bunch of other stuff

I'm not even going to bother tallying up, as it'll be frighteningly low!!!
2023 is going to be a big painting year....I can feel it

I've just skimmed through my Twitter feed.
256 28mm foot
28 28mm cavaly
3 15mm foot.
I'd have liked to finish the two units I have on the workbench but not going to happen...
If I can maintain the same rate through 2023 but double the amount of cavalry I might be close to finishing my C18th stuff... Maybe...

You all seem to have done very well. I'm very jealous.
Andy - you will never finish the 18thC project if you keep buying more stuff!
I haven't got the faintest idea what I've painted this year. I seem to have spent most of my time writing and amending rules.
